Winner!
On Aug 5, 2010, the short doc The Amazin’ Jerks by Casey Parks and Aaron Wong won the Audience Choice Award for best film at the inaugural Portland Bridgefest 2010. Our prize includes a personal screening at the Baghdad later this year. For more info about the film festival and the the Bridgefest: http://pdxbridgefestival.org/.
Introduced by Portland mayor Sam Adams, The Jerks performed for audiences at the opening Bridgefest event as well as a special demo during the festival. They have been contacted for commercial work and have future several performances schedules around town.
Casey and I along with Aubree Bernier-Clark are currently working on a documentary about a transgender woman in a small town in Louisiana. This production is in association with Amorphous Films and studio.pebble.
Sub Rosa
Preproduction continues on the short film Sub Rosa, which will shoot in June.
