Based on a Korean folktale, a young girl named Mina follows a Fox into another world. There she meets the Cat who tasks Mina to find a magical mushroom before the Fox does. Mina must rely on her wits alone during a journey that will face her with flesh-eating Goblins, a bird-like Fisherman and his Wife, and a River Dragon.
